Kastel is a furniture design company based in Northern Italy. Koki stool and Kairos table are part of Kastel’s Autumn 2025 collection, each distinguished by its unique design and character. I was invited to develop these animations, bringing each product’s story and design philosophy to life through motion and sound.
For Koki, watercolour was used to evoke a sense of calm before the storm, symbolising the creative process, where moments of chaos and uncertainty ultimately lead to clarity and great results. For the Kairos table, the focus was on the simplicity of its packaging and assembly.

We wanted to give the animations more emotional approach, not just the technicalities. The visual style played a key role in creating a sense of wonder and intrigue. Since watercolours were originally used in the design process for Kairos, they naturally became a fitting visual style for storytelling. Animations were made in both vertical and horizontal formats to ensure the best visual experience across different screens.

The video advertisements brought more attention and interest to Koki and Kairos, while also captivating perfectly the essence of these products. The animations were also showcased on the company's website, and for the future those are planned to be used as a spectacle in the upcoming furniture exhibitions.
